The Birth of Austin Albury Wodonga –

Austin was in such a rush to arrive and mum was a powerhouse during deliver that even though I left home the moment I got the call to come to the hospital to photograph his birth I rushed in the room just as he was getting placed onto mum’s tummy!!! There was very little time for any one to prepare, let along find service to make a phone call. Thankfully I got the all important first minutes of life, cuddling onto mummy’s chest….. his eyes awakening into his new world……to grasp daddy’s finger for the first time! The moment when he was welcomed into his family these are the wonderful memories worth recording!! I’m so thankful to be entrusted with photographing such an important personal moment in peoples lives.

Spring Family mini sessions Albury Wodonga

Our annual Spring family mini sessions are on again. Held in a beautiful nature reserve with lovely gum tress and beautiful dandelions 🙂 these sessions are all about family and may be relaxed, or crazy fun whichever your family is!! We will have a lovely quilted rug to sit on quietly or if you’d rather play, tickle and have fun we encourage this too. Our aim is to capture the connection, joy, giggles, and glances and love that you share in these family moments.

These mini sessions will be held on the weekend of November the 1st and 2nd. Session times are restricted to 45 mins with your choice of 5 or 8 images from the session. These make ideal Christmas gifts for family and friends. Email trish@trishreedphotography.com.au for all the details.

‘Daddy & Us’ Wodonga Studio mini sessions

It’s time again for our ever popular ‘Daddy & Us’ mini sessions :)Our ‘Daddy & Us’ sessions will be based around the quiet tranquility , or crazy fun, you may experience in your own home, cuddled up quietly, enjoying in each other’s company, or playing, tickling and having fun. Our aim is to capture the connection, joy, giggles, and glances and love that you share in these intimate moments. We will have a nice cosy set all organised and ready for these cuddly fun sessions.

These mini sessions will be held on Saturday the 16th of August and Sunday the 17th of August and take 30 minutes. They will be all finished and delivered just in time for Father’s day!

First up tonight ‘Simply Baby’ mini sessions 🙂 Is it time to up date your little one’s photos? they grow so much in their first year!! If you’d love some updated photos but don’t really need or want a full studio session then book one of these. Perfect for those in between ages from 4 months to 11 months ♥ we all celebrate our fresh new babies when they are newborns and again once they are 1 year old’s, but all those other ages in between get forgotten this is the perfect opportunity to capture those cheeky chubby bubbas in the in-between ages ♥ These 30 minute mini sessions will be held on the 22nd of July from 9.30 am till 3 pm in our nice warm studio in Wodonga. Newborn baby Theodore Wodonga

Had sweet little Theo visit me today in the studio and I got loads of cuddles, I love this time to cuddle with our babies!!! There is nothing better for me when parents are looking at all their beautiful photos than having me some baby cuddles <3 <3 We had to postpone Verity’s viewing until today just to allow me some more time to work on little Theo’s skin, on the day of his session Theo had very inflamed irritated skin that I wanted to make as perfectly clear as I could. Theo is so lucky to have such a clever mummy who worked out the problem and solved it quickly for him I was amazed to see how clear it was today!!! And it made me especially glad I took the extra time to make his skin as beautiful as it naturally is. I have shared a before and after at the bottom if you are interested in seeing the difference. There were just a few tears of joy shed today as we celebrated the new baby that has bought so much joy and happiness into this lovely family I’m so very happy we got to photograph little baby Theo and his mummy and daddy, thanks for choosing us ☺

Newborn baby Layla Wodonga

We had a lovely viewing session today!!! Mum and Nan came by to choose favorites ☺ it was so nice to have a newborn baby girl in the studio, as it has been all boys lately!!! Using pinks were a really nice change, not to mention getting out the headbands etc, which seam to be gathering dust due to no use…hehehe…. While I’m thankful they had a hard time choosing as this means we’re doing our jobs well, I’m not sure I’d like to be on the other side deciding which they love more to include in thier album, thankfully we now offer all digital files on usb, so this need not be a concern as parents can have them all!!! Thank you so much for choosing us to take your maternity and newborn images Fleur and Rocky it was a joy to have you all in our studio and little baby Layla was an absolute dream to work with and a she is such a pretty baby girl aww we could happily have kept her.

Newborn portraits – baby Elijah Wodonga

Today Marika and Jason came to the studio to view their newborn son Elijah’s newborn portraits for the first time. I got a big cuddle with the little man while mum and dad viewed the matted prints on the viewing wall.

Mum was so excited to become a mother she knew it was something truly worth celebrating and capturing with newborn portraits. There were tears threatening as we watched his slideshow through. It’s always so nice to see the love on parents faces when seeing their beautiful baby in their photographs. Then they had the hard job of choosing their favorites, and the touch of red in the one they chose as their large wall art piece is going to look fantastic in their new home!!!

Little Elijah was a perfect model for his entire session; he was so good from beginning to end. He had some little awake times in his family photos and then off to sleep for the rest. They bought in a beautiful chair, that was a special gift from his grandparents, to have some photos taken in and they turned out brilliantly 🙂

Newborn baby Archer Wodonga

Yesterday Jess and Kane came to see their little baby Archer’s newborn portraits, it has been a week since we photographed this new family. I was so lucky and got lots of cuddles with Archer, I often miss out on this at the sessions and Tara gets all the cuddles.

Jess’s mum came along to have a look at the photos as well, and had teary eyes when watching his slideshow through. It was a wonderful opportunity seeing a grandparent viewing the photos for the first time!! As she said ‘such a beautiful couple’ and they are aren’t they?? it made my job so difficult hahah She chose some of her own favorites photos to get a little book all of her own.

It was lovely to hear from Jess again this morning, and she said how much the quote at the beginning of the slideshow represented them so well, ‘it truly fitted their little miracle’ ☺ I’m so glad to hear I got it right!! Thank you for choosing us to capture these memories for you we loved every minute.

Newborn baby Hunter Wodonga

I’ve taken far to long to get this post up for this family to share. This lovely family has welcomed a new baby boy to the household!! And these big brothers just adore him….hehehe… as only brothers can. He won’t be lacking in companionship or someone to play with. It was a wonderful session with everyone arriving and one time or another, it was a loud fun, and sometimes funny session, As I’m sure the future will be filled with loudness and laughter with these handsome boys. As I was processing little Hunter’s photos, I couldn’t help but notice how cute his little dimple chin is, which as mu pouts out is just like his big brothers’ also, they all have it. Ahh such a beautiful baby boy, it was a joy to photograph him and even more wonderful to see him again when Lucretia and Malcolm come back for their viewing. The have some beautiful portraits chosen and a lovely little album as well, so sorry it was so hard to cut down you choice guys, but serious it’s cause you have such a beautiful baby boy.

Newborn Baby Mila Wodonga

Today we had sweet baby Mila and her family come back to the studio for their viewing appointment. I really do love this little catch up time with families after the session has been finalised and all their portraits are edited and on show for them to see!! It makes me so happy to see parents faces when they see their beautiful portraits for the first time, and to be able to actually pick up and hold prints in their hands to help with the often time hard decisions of which are their favourites and what they will put up on their walls or in keepsake albums. Wayne and Alecia chose some lovely photos for art pieces for their walls, I’m so excited to order them and I can’t wait see them come back in the large sizes 🙂
